Author Biography
Pietro Corsi is Professor of the History of Science at the University of Oxford. He has held teaching and research positions at Pisa, Cambridge, Harvard, the Sorbonne and the Ecole des Hautes Etudes en Sciences Sociales, Paris. His research has concentrated on early evolutionary theories in France, Italy and France, the relationship between science and religion in Nineteenth Century England, the history of neuroscience.
