Issue 25 ofBlue Mesa Reviewonce again brings readers fiction, nonfiction, and poetry from all over the country.Blue Mesa Reviewcontinues to be a current literary conversation between editors and writers. Created in the graduate MFA program at the University of New Mexico, this issue was handpicked by current MFA candidates and displays their current literary interests and aesthetics. The beautiful modern, hip cover art was contributed by local Albuquerque artist Jolene Yazzie. Nonfiction in this issue includes essays by Jennifer McGaha, Yelizaveta P. Renfro, Michael Rosenbaum, and interviews with established writers Wells Tower and Nikola Madzirov. Fiction in this issue includes pieces by Ashley Rose Davidson, Erica Olsen, Susan Jackson Rogers, Luke Rolfes, Dustin Hoffman, and Vic Sizemore. The 2012 fiction contest winner story "National Steel" by Thomas Watters, chosen by author Kate Braverman, is also included. Poetry in this issue includes original works by Jaydn Dewald, Donna Hunt, Deborah Bacharach, and Anna Lowe Weber. Also included in Issue 25 is the 2012 poetry contest winning poem by Cynthia Monroe, chosen by celebrated poet Dana Levin.
