Summary

It was when she reached thirteen, and was settling into becoming a teenager that she met Amy who was engaged as a constant companion for her. A Dome had been built over the moon base, a second one for research had been established and the gravity drive for the shuttles perfected. She was helping to consolidate the moon base by transferring supplies, equipment and personnel when she discovered that she was being spied upon. It was soon realised that Sir Charles Wilberforce Prendergast was behind it all. He had found out about moon base and about Daisy and had made arrangement to eliminate her. In an attempt to forestall him everything was made public knowledge, but this only seemed to enrage him further. After several failed attempts he kidnapped Bruce hoping to force Daisy's hand. Bruce was eventually freed, and Sir Charles fell back on his assassins and further attempts on Daisy's life. Blowing up her house was the last straw and finally Sir Charles had to answer for his crimes.
