Author Biography

Bill Amend is a graduate of Amherst College in Massachusetts with a degree in physics. After working briefly in the animation/film industry, he created FoxTrot, which has become one of the most beloved strips of the last 25 years. As a cartoonist, he is able to excuse the hours spent playing video games and watching kids' movies as legitimate research. Amend lives in the Midwest.
