Summary

Deadly Price of Fortune In a small town in Montana, near the Blackfoot River, local legends tell of Louis Mattour-a French quartermaster for the Lewis and Clark Expedition, who secretly traded with Indians for gold. He hid his treasure in a cave along the river before vanishing without a trace. For years, fortune hunters failed to locate the gold in the treacherous river caves, until three young boys tragically disappeared in the late 1950's. Decades later, a mysterious young man, armed with the long-lost secret to the cave, arrives to solve the mystery and claim the fortune for himself. His clandestine exploits ignite a sinister plot to destroy decades-old evidence of wrongdoing and creates new dangers for curious young adventurers, Bo and Ryan Benbright, and their friend Bret. Will the dangerous caves claim more young victims? Will the Benbright family face the same anguish as others before them? Or will the small town unite and save its real treasure?
