Author Biography

Allan Creighton teaches social justice and violence prevention at the University of California, Berkeley. He has conducted trainings and published curricula since 1978 and co-founded the batterer's intervention program Men Overcoming Violence and the Todos Alliance-Building Institute. Paul Kivel, the author of numerous books and curricula, has been an innovative international trainer in violence prevention for 35 years. With Allan Creighton, he founded the Oakland Men's Project in 1979.
