Hisareer consisted of extraordinary constructive achievements: the Amsterdamtock Market, which recaptures Romanesque forms through the austereimplicity of its volumes and its use of exposed brick; urbanistic plans formsterdam, The Hague, Rotterdam and Utrecht, based on highly unitaryompositional designs in open contrast with contemporary trends; as well asxtremely controversial works such as the Christian Science Church and theity Museum of The Hague.
