Author Biography
Mike wrote the best selling textbook on Omaha poker, Cappelletti on Omaha. His column for Card Player magazine has appeared every two weeks from 1989 to the present. In 1995, the first collection of Mike's best poker articles was published as The Best of Cappelletti on Omaha. He is often referred to as the leading authority on Omaha. Mike Cappelletti was formerly a lawyer for the U.S. Department of Justice. He is also a well known bridge player who has represented the United States in international competition. In the 1980s, The New York Times referred to Mike and his wife as the best husband-and-wife bridge partnership in the world. People Magazine then featured the Cappelletti's in their four-page "Couples Section."
