Author Biography
Dr. Xavier Amador, pictured here with his brother who has schizophrenia, is a Professor in Clinical Psychology at Teachers College Columbia University in New York City and is on the board of Directors of NAMI. He was co-chair of the last revision of the Psychotic Disorders section of the DSM-IV and has published over 100 scientific papers and six books.
