Summary
Levison's Textbook for Dental Nurses is a must have for all students studying for their dental nurse qualification. Whilst retaining the core information on dental nursing which has made this book a deserved classic, this 10th Edition has been substantially revised to reflect recent changes to many areas of the syllabus and also to the format of the examination. Chapters have been added on brand new areas of study, namely communication skills and dental nurse registration, regulation and responsibilities. This latest edition fully reflects recent and substantial developments in the dental nursing profession including mandatory registration, new legislation, the New General Dental Services contract, and the subsequent increased pressure for continuing professional development.
Author Biography
Carole Hollins is a dental practitioner and member of the British Dental Association. She is a member of the Faculty of General Dental Practitioners and an examiner for NEBDN. She is the current Chairman of the National Certificate Committee and sits on the Qualifications Council. Carole Hollins is the author of NVQs for Dental Nurses, Questions and Answers for Dental Nurses, 2nd Edition and the Basic Guide to Dental Procedures.
