A two-time winner of both the Edgar Award and the Bram Stoker Award, he was recognized by the Horror Writers Association in 2009 with the Bram Stoker Award for Lifetime Achievement. Daniel H. Wilson was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and earned a BS in computer science from the University of Tulsa and a PhD in robotics from Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh.
