Author Biography

Thomas P. Ference, PhD, is a member of the faculties of the Columbia Mailman School of Public Health and Graduate School of Business and served as Director of the Columbia Executive MBA Program. Ference is also the founder and past director of the Columbia Business School Institute for Not-for-Profit Management Paul W. Thurman, MBA, teaches strategic management and data analysis courses at the Mailman School of Public Health and the School of International and Public Affairs of Columbia University and serves as a visiting professor at the Hellenic American University in Greece and the Skolkovo Moscow School of Management in Russia
