Molly Schaar Idle es una ilustradora, autora y animadora de libros infantiles estadounidense. En 2014, recibió el premio Caldecott por su libro ilustrado Flora and the Flamingo. Julie es estadounidense. En 2013 fue reconocida con el premio Ezra Jack Keats New Writer, el cual fue establecido en 1985 para estimular el trabajo de los nuevos autores de libros ilustrados.
