Author Biography
Nicola Stoner has published in national and international peer reviewed journals, edited books and journal articles, written book chapters, presented at national and international conferences, lectures and tutors on university undergraduate and postgraduate courses, and presents at national training events. She is an active member in regional, national, and international expert groups, informing national policy development. Nicola is Chair of the Academic Pharmacy Practice Unit between OUHFT Pharmacy Department and University of Reading School of Pharmacy, Chair of the Royal Pharmaceutical Society (RPS) Consultant Pharmacist group, Chair of the OUHFT Oncology and Haematology NMP group, and Co-chair of the OUHFT Advanced Therapy Medicinal Product Genetic Modification Safety Committee.
Marc Mitchell has undertaken post-graduate placements at Reading, University College London, and Newcastle universities. He has presented at national conferences and training events, tutored for Bath, Belfast, Cardiff, London, Brighton and Reading clinical pharmacy diplomas, and published several papers and conference abstracts. Marc is currently involved in several Trust-wide committees for patient safety and clinical governance.
Olivia Moswela is Lead Pharmacist for Neurosciences & Neuro-Critical Care at Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, Co-chair of the Oxford region multiple sclerosis multidisciplinary team network, and UKCPA neurosciences pharmacists committee member. Olivia has published in The Pharmaceutical Journal (PJ) and other international peer reviewed journals, written book chapters, and peer reviewed articles for the PJ and the BNF. She has taught on postgraduate clinical pharmacy neurology workshops at University of Bath.
Louise Dunsmure is Consultant Pharmacist antimicrobial stewardship at Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. She is a Member of the Royal Pharmaceutical Society Antimicrobial Expert Advisory Group. She is an Editorial Board Member for Clinical Infection in Practice and Associate Editor for Journal of Antimicrobial Chemotherapy-Antimicrobial Resistance (JAC-AMR). Louise has publications related to her current role in the International Journal of Pharmacy Practice, JAC, BMJ Open Quality, JAC-AMR, Journal of Infection and The Pharmaceutical Journal.
Melinda Presland is Consultant Pharmacist for Palliative and End of Life Care at Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. She is Chair of the Association for Supportive and Palliative Care Pharmacy group. She has published in The Pharmaceutical Journal (PJ) and the BMJ Supportive and Palliative Care, has peer reviewed journal articles, co-written book chapters, and has worked as a freelance writer for the Palliative Care Formulary (PCF). She has also presented at national and international conferences and training events. Melinda teaches for both the Cardiff and Reading clinical pharmacy diplomas and has also taught on the undergraduate pharmacy degree at the University of Reading. She has worked as Senior Clinical Lead in palliative care for NHSE/I, with a focus on medicines for palliative care patients.
Clare Faulkner is Divisional Pharmacist for NOTSSCaN (neurosciences, orthopaedics, trauma, specialist surgery, children's and neonates) at Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. She is a previous Chair of the UK Ophthalmic Pharmacists Group. Clare has published in The Pharmaceutical Journal (PJ), and co-written and reviewed book chapters. She has previously taught for the Cardiff University clinical pharmacy diplomas and has also taught on the undergraduate pharmacy degree at the University of Reading. Clare was the pharmacist member of the NICE guideline committee for the updated NG81 diagnosis and management guidelines.
