Summary

Have you ever said, "I didn't know choosing paint colors was going to be so hard!" Have you ever walked into a paint store and become completely overwhelmed with too many color choices? Or have you ever made a mistake choosing the wrong color and now you're afraid to ever choose colors again?
Cindy Gelormini, aka "The Paint Diva" is a professional paint color expert who has helped tens of thousands of clients choose paint colors. She has created the method outlined in this book that she uses with all of her clients. This is not an Interior Design book, but rather it's a very practical, step-by-step way to choose paint colors that makes the process of color selection incredibly simple and stress free.
In the beginning of the book, she gives easy to understand explanations of how to see the undertones in the paint colors. She breaks them into 4 Color Season Palettes and includes a list of her favorite colors by Benjamin Moore and Sherwin Williams. Next, she walks the reader through room by room explaining how to choose the right colors for each space, what to look at, which colors will work, what will NOT work and why. She discusses choosing colors for the walls, ceilings and trim, which finish to use, and even which types of paint to use. You'll learn the correct way to sample colors and find solutions to problem situations like having low ceilings, or where to start and stop colors in an open layout. By the time you finish reading the book you'll feel like a color expert yourself! You'll have colors chosen for every room in your home and can record them on the worksheet provided at the end of the book.

Author Biography

Cindy Gelormini has specialized in helping people choose colors they love for nearly twenty years. After a decade as a decorative mural artist she went to work at a Benjamin Moore retailer as their in-store Interior Designer. She made the process of color selection so surprisingly painless and easy that customers made up nicknames for her like "The Paint Doctor", "The Paint Genie", "The Paint Whisperer" and her favorite, "The Paint Diva". She was a featured expert on Benjamin Moore's "Experts Exchange" where people could write in and get color suggestions. To date she has helped tens of thousands of clients choose the right colors for their homes. She is now an independent color consultant specializing in both Benjamin Moore and Sherwin Williams colors, and is considered the go-to expert in her field.
Cindy is the mother of four and resides in New Jersey. When she is not helping clients with choosing paint colors, she does work as an Autism Advocate. She wrote and illustrated a children's book series about a little penguin with Autism called "Robbie's World and His SPECTRUM of Adventures!" and is the CEO of Robbie's World Foundation which helps autism families.
