Author Biography

Peter Yarrow is a member of the iconic '60s folk trio Peter, Paul & Mary. Along with Lenny Lipton, he wrote the beloved song and now hit book Puff, the Magic Dragon. Yarrow is a Grammy® winner and an Emmy® nominee for his animated TV specials based on Puff. Among the many honors bestowed upon him, Yarrow is proudest of the Allard K. Lowenstein Award, which he received for advancing the causes of human rights, peace, and freedom. In addition to extensive touring and performing, Peter is active in Operation Respect, an organization that promotes anti-bullying awareness in schools across the country. He lives in New York City. Eric Puybaret graduated from the Ecole Nationale Superieure des Arts Decoratifs in Paris. Puff, the Magic Dragon was his first American picture book. He has since published The Nutcracker, retold by John Cech, for Sterling as well as several picture books for other publishers. He lives in France. Bruce Foster is the award-winning paper engineer of nearly 40 pop-up books, including his latest bestseller, Harry Potter. His work has been selected three times for the Today show's annual Top Ten Hot List, and his pop-up magic can be seen throughout the Disney movie, Enchanted. Bruce has worked with some of the leading names in children's publishing, including Caldecott nominee Mo Willems and Charles Schulz. His work has been exhibited at the National Museum of American History, and been featured by the Movable Books Society and the Smithsonian Institute Library. He lives in Houston, Texas.
