Summary

February 6, 2011 marks the 100th birthday of President Reagan. The impact of his leadership is still evident. This unique photographic collection honors his life and legacy. Throughout the many chapters of his life, Reagan never failed to display the character, integrity, and optimism that helped him become one of our greatest leaders ever. Reagan was elected to the White House at age 69, offering a new vision for America based on principled leadership and faith in the American people. As President Reagan left the White House, he had achieved his major goals. Remaining true to his convictions and believing in the American people, he had restored the economy, revived the American spirit, and defeated the Soviet Union. Even as he shared his personal battle with Alzheimer's with the nation, he left us with a message of hope: "I now begin the journey that will lead me into the sunset of my life. I know that for America there will always be a bright dawn ahead. Thank you, my friends. May God always bless you."
