Summary

This volume brings together a selection of the academic writings of noted Indian economist, the late Professor Raj Krishna. The writings cover two broad themes, agricultural economics and unemployment in India, and address both methodological and policy-oriented issues.

Author Biography

Raj Krishna was teaching at the Delhi School of Economics at the time of his death in 1985. He also taught at MIT and the Food Research Institute at Stanford.
