Author Biography
Cynthia Rylant is, the acclaimed author of numerous outstanding books for young readers. She received the Newbery Medal for Missing May, and a Newbery Honor for A Fine White Dust. Her picture books include Give Me Grace, Bless Us All, Dog Heaven, and Cat Heaven, all of which she illustrated herself. She is also the author of The Wonderful Happens, illustrated by Coco Dowley, and the award-winning Henry and Mudge beginning-reader series. She lives in the Pacific Northwest.
