Author Biography

John A. Davis is a VMware Certified Instructor (VCI) and VMware Certified Professional (VCP). As senior architect and owner of MEJEER LLC, he provides contracted professional services, IT solutions, training, and architecture services to the VMware business community. He previously spent four years as Product Architect at Rackspace, the leading managed cloud company, where he designed products built on VMware technologies. He has taught advanced VMware technologies since 2014, written several white papers, and holds multiple VMware certifications.

Steven Baca (VCAP, VCI, VCP, NCDA) has been in the computer industry for more than 20 years. Originally a computer programmer and system administrator working on Unix and Windows systems, he migrated to technical training, wrote a course for Sun Microsystems, and has focused on VMware technologies for nearly a decade. He currently specializes in technical training, teaching, and consulting.

Owen Thomas (VCI Level 2, VCP-DCV, VCP-Cloud, VCP-DT, VCAP-DCA) is Worldwide Support Technical Trainer at Nutanix. A VMware Certified Instructor, he has taught hundreds of VMware classes since 2008. He has performed VMware JumpStarts, audits, health checks, capacity planning, and P2V migrations.
