Summary
The ministry of the watchman in a local church is possibly one of the most common and yet one of the most misunderstood ministries in the Body of Christ. Over time, the majority of these gifted people have been driven into reclusive lives because of relational issues and confusion surrounding their very vital ministry in the local church. The 21st century watchman ministry needs a broader and clearer definition. It is time that the conservative, narrow, and restrictive perspectives of the watchmans ministry be enlarged into the reality of its great potential and value God has intended.
Author Biography
Dr. Joe Ibojie trained as a medical doctor and worked with Army Medical Service, attaining the rank of colonel. Now an ordained Pentecostal minister of the Gospel with special grace to minister and expound the Word of God, he travels internationally teaching on interpretation of dreams, visions, and prophecy. Joe is the author of Dreams and Visions, The Illustrated Bible-Based Dictionary of Dream Symbols and How to Live the Supernatural Life in the Here and Now. Together with his wife, Cynthia, he oversees The Father's House in Aberdeen, Scotland. The Father's House builds bridges of hope across generations, racial divides, and gender biases through the ministry of the Word.
