Summary

One of the ways we get to know other people is by telling our stories. And we can get to know other people by asking them to share their stories with us. But how do we do that? "Tell me about yourself" is a little vague for most of us. It's too broad and hard to answer. "What's Your Story?" is an interactive guide designed to help people tell their stories by recounting their experiences, feelings, values, and beliefs with others. Filled with questions, journal pages, essays, and dialog, "What's Your Story?" will get you talking about -- and listening to -- the things that really matter.

Author Biography

Toben and Joanne Heim graduated from Whitworth College in Spokane, Washington, where Toben earned his degree in communication studies and Joanne majored in communication studies and French. After college, the Heims moved to France, where Joanne worked for a French software company. After returning to the United States, they helped begin a group at their church that grew from three couples to more than twenty in less than a year. They lead one of the small groups that grew from that ministry and write much of the material the groups uses. They have been married since 1991 and have one daughter, Audrey, and two beagles, Daisy and Abigail.
